Former world boxing champion Amir Khan said he was robbed on Monday in London under threat of gun violence. The Brit wrote on Twitter.

The 35-year-old was traveling with his wife Faryal when two men with guns drew his watch. “The good news is we’re safe,” Khan said. The London police announced that they had already started searching for the potential perpetrators.

Khan is a former WBA and IBF Light Welterweight World Champion. He lost his last fight in February against compatriot Kell Brook after a technical knockout in the sixth round.
