Capital Bra admits his drug relapse in Instagram video. With a bloody nose, the rapper talks about addiction: “I can’t ask for forgiveness anymore.”
The Berlin rapper Capital Bra addressed his fans with an emotional Instagram video and admitted that he had relapsed into drug addiction. “Everything you saw and heard is true,” says the 31-year-old, visibly shaken. He was clean for months, but now his addiction has caught up with him again.
The short video, which shows the “Berlin Lives” interpreter lying in bed, spread rapidly and caused great concern.
Bloody nose causes speculation: “I can no longer ask for forgiveness”
In the photo, the musician, who lives in Cyprus, can be seen with a bloody nose. Fans speculated on social media about the causes and linked the nosebleeds to cocaine use. This has not been officially confirmed. However, Capital Bra speaks openly about his situation: “I struggled with it for a long time, with my addiction, and put very, very many people in a strange position. In a very difficult position.” Desperately, he adds: “I can no longer ask for forgiveness.” And: “It’s no fun to live like that.” Shortly afterwards he stops the video.
Manager reveals details: relapse in the summer, hospital stay in August
His long-time confidant and former manager Drilon had previously indicated in an annual review that Capital Bra had already relapsed in the summer of 2025. “If you party too much, your body can no longer participate, including your nose,” he explained in retrospect. Accordingly, the rapper had to be taken to the hospital in August. A planned joint album with Samra (“Berlin Lives 3”) did not materialize at this stage.

Capital Bra, whose real name is Vladislav Balovatsky, had already made it public in 2020 that he was addicted to the painkiller Tilidin. In addition to the health problems, his private life was also turbulent: after around ten years of relationship, he separated from his childhood sweetheart, with whom he has four children, in 2025. Rumors of infidelity are circulating on social media, but these have not been confirmed.

In videos of club gigs you can see him suddenly sitting down, staring into space and visibly struggling with himself.
