Everyone has such a bag full of bags, but Dutchman Jasper has a solution: “Albert Heijn, can I give them back to you?”

It happens to everyone: oh, forgot to take a shopping bag to the supermarket. Or oops, bought a little more than fits in my pockets and no boxes to be seen. Then you are forced to buy a new reusable plastic bag at the checkout, resulting in a growing mountain of bags at home. Dutchman Jasper van ‘t Wel (24) finds that very strange. He is now going viral with a striking idea: “Appie (nickname for Albert Heijn, ed.), can I please give my bag full of bags back to you?”, he writes in a post on LinkedIn. In the meantime, the Dutchman has already been invited to Albert Heijn’s head office.
