Dwight McNeil remains in the Premier League after being relegated with Burnley FC. The 22-year-old is moving to Everton FC, where he has a contract until June 30, 2027. The left wing follows central defender James Tarkowski (29), who previously moved to the “Toffees” on a free transfer.
According to media reports, the fee for McNeil, including bonuses, can amount to up to 20 million pounds (around 24 million euros). In the summer of 2018, the attacker made the leap from adolescence to the pros at Burnley FC, for whom he was directly involved in 24 goals in 147 games. The all-time favorite has missed just two Premier League games since December 2018 and last season was the second-best dribbler in the English top flight with 90 dribbles and third-best crosser with 199 crosses.

“When I heard about Everton FC’s interest I wanted to sign straight away because I appreciate the club and the quality of the team,” said McNeil. “When I spoke to the coach about what they are up to in the future, I was really excited and touched. I wanted to be part of it. (…) I have the feeling that a coach like Frank Lampard will help me to improve my statistics and my game – and that’s exactly what I want to do.”
