An evening out in Breda in December ended in hospital for a young man. The victim was beaten up in the De Barones parking garage and broke his jaw. In Bureau Brabant you can see how he is pushed out of nowhere, hit and falls to the ground.
On the night of December 27 to 28, 2025, the victim was standing in a parking garage on Nieuweweg when two men walked up from the entrance to Tolbrugstraat.
The atmosphere is immediately grim and out of nowhere the man gets a push in the shoulder. When he says something about this, one of the suspects turns around and hits him hard on the jaw with his fist.
The blow is so hard that the victim hits the payment terminal and falls to the ground. While this is happening, he also seems to receive another blow.
Broken jaw and crooked teeth
The consequences for the victim are great. In the hospital it later turns out that his lower jaw has been broken. He has to have surgery that same day. The blow also caused his teeth to become crooked, and he will probably need further treatment for this.
Suspects flee after assault
After the assault, the two perpetrators fled. First they talked for a while with the victim’s other friends, but then they left.
CCTV footage from the parking garage shows how they fled up the stairs, running and smiling. The two even seem to have enjoyed what happened that night.
The police would like to know who these two men are. They see the man with the blue coat as the main suspect in the assault. The other man seen in the images was in any case involved in violence against a friend of the victim. The police would also like to find him.
