Finland’s path in the women’s EC tournament rose after the 0–1 loss to Denmark.
The superstar of the Juts Pernille Harder scored the winning goal of the match when the Finnish players no longer had enough strength to defend.
– Disappointed feelings. We gave it our all. I can be proud of the team for that. Of course, we could have created more goalscoring chances, running wild kilometers in the midfield Eveliina Summanen said right after the match.
– We defended almost perfectly. There was that one place in Denmark and we were immediately punished.
Summanen’s workload was visible at the interview point. The Tottenham professional took support from the near post when his strength was no longer enough.
– I gave my all physically and mentally there. I left everything on the field.
