Eva Jinek and her new sidekick Roelof Hemmen have been on the road for a month now, but not everyone is enthusiastic. According to Rob Goossens, there is a total mismatch.
Rob Goossens, the TV connoisseur of RTL Boulevard, is not really impressed by the combination of Eva Jinek and Roelof Hemmen. The former newsreader has been given an important role in her program; he reads all the news and introduces certain topics. And that, according to Rob, is all very disappointing.
Total mismatch
It’s a total mismatch, says Rob. “We have not yet been able to discover chemistry between Hemmen and Jinek. That makes you wonder: what on earth was this necessary for?”, he writes in his column in Veronica Superguide.
Rob knows why Eva chose him after all. “The reason for this move is two channels away: Today Inside. Because at Wilfred Genee at the table, the roaring opinions are flying over the table, but sometimes they want to lack the facts.”

Eva wants to offer a serious alternative to Johan Derksen’s underbelly, Rob seems to want to say. “Although the people at home that [feitenvrije VI] seem completely fine (see: the viewing figures), Jinek wants to increase the contrast by making facts in her show even more important.”
A failure, says Rob. “So far I personally find it very forced.”
