Eva Jinek fails with extremely long broadcast: “Phew, this is a shock”

Eva Jinek’s talk show is getting longer every day. Yesterday her viewers had to last no less than 1 hour and 40 minutes (!). The result? “It’s been a long time since she scored so badly.”

It is getting crazier with the duration of the talk show Jinek. Apparently RTL 4 wants to stretch Eva Jinek’s program as long as possible to keep the viewer glued to the tube until late in the evening, but the channel is now making it very colorful. Yesterday, the Jinek viewers had to last no less than a hundred minutes.

Scared for Eve

In such an extremely long sitting, the binoculars of Jinek make no sense at all; it cuts off en masse. Yesterday, only 500 thousand people (almost 15 percent market share) watched the talk show, good for 21st place in the top 25 viewing figure.

Viewing figure connoisseur Tina Nijkamp is shocked. “Phew, what a shock for Eva Jinek. Only 500 thousand viewers. It’s been a long time since she scored this badly. This season she is again suffering from the competition of Arjen Lubach. He scored top again: 1.1 million viewers and 23 percent in the target group 20 to 54 years. Jinek had 15 percent.”

Long sit

It also helps, of course, that Arjen’s program doesn’t even last half an hour and you now need skewers at Jinek to keep your eyes open. In any case, her guest list is not appealing enough to be on the channel for so long.

Eva has another month and a half to make talk shows. She will be relieved by Beau van Erven Dorens on March 20 and normally Eva will not return until September. That would mean that she can once again enjoy a six-month holiday.

Smartest wins

The winner on prime time yesterday was again De Slimste Mens with 2.5 million viewers (42 percent) on NPO 1. Immediately afterwards, DNA Unknown held 1.2 million (23 percent).

The most watched alternatives were RTL 4’s Married At First Sight (925 thousand and 17 percent), SBS 6’s Today Inside (847 thousand and 18 percent) and NPO 2’s Gort over de Grens (504 thousand and 9 percent).
