Brabant is represented during the Regional Song Contest by 25-year-old Rosa Spruit. The singer grew up in a musical family in Bergeijk where everyone can play an instrument. As a child, her father gave her a bright pink glitter guitar. That’s where her love for music started. In the beginning she only sang covers of other artists. When friends and family asked her if she wanted to start writing songs herself, she took the plunge.
The singer-songwriter is no stranger to music lovers. She has been in the Brabant Top 100 for years with her song ‘Between city and countryside’, which is about moving from Utrecht to Bergeijk at a young age. Now she is participating in the Regional Song Contest for Brabant with a vulnerable song.
