Eurovision 2022: there is a boom in ratings for the second semi-final

B.uone the first. And even better the second. The Semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022aired yesterday Thursday 12 May, reached 27.7% share on Rai Uno with 5 million and 538 thousand spectators.

The event aired from the Pala Olimpico in Turin from 20.57 to 23.16 kept us glued to the screen 5,538,000 spectators with the 27.7% share.

An excellent figure that even manages to overcome the (unexpected) one of the debut: 27% share was recorded on Tuesday evening with 5,507,000 spectators.

Last year the figures for the second semi-final were decidedly lower (on Rai4 555,000 spectators with 2.3% share), but the comparison leaves the time it findsgiven the differences with this all-Italian edition and broadcast entirely on the Rai flagship network.

The show hosted by international hosts Alessandro Cattelan, Mika and Laura Pausini is thrilling the Italian public.

They were 3 million (26% share) those over 55 connected, though the target 15-34 years however confirmed a positive trend: the younger ones are becoming fond of competition. They were 883 thousand with a 35.3% share.

Achille Lauro and Emma Muscat will not sing in the final

In the second semifinal of the most popular musical event in the world they went to select the countries that will perform at the final match tomorrowSaturday 14 May.

Only ten of the eighteen countries that performed yesterday will return to the Pala Olimpico stage. Among these there will not be Achille Lauro (competing for San Marino) and the former competitor of Friends Emma Muscat (Malta).
