A gold coin from the seventeenth century was auctioned in Geneva on Monday for more than 2.8 million Swiss francs (more than 3 million euros). Numismatica Genevensis (NGSA), the company in charge of the sale, announced this on Tuesday. This is the most expensive European coin ever auctioned.
