The European heads of state or government will instruct the Commission to investigate joint purchases of gas and other energy sources. That is the aim of the second day of the European summit in Brussels. Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo also continues to promote a system of price caps, although not all other member states are convinced that this is a good idea.
