Russian opposition leader Vladimir Kara-Moerza, jailed for high treason after criticizing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, has won the Vaclav Havel Prize for Human Rights. Kara-Moerza shows “incredible bravery”, says Dutch jury chairman Tiny Kox on behalf of the Council of Europe.
