European gas price remains historically high this year, according to energy agency

The European gas price is expected to fall slightly this year, but will remain at an average of 26 dollars (23.28 euros) per 1 million Btu (a heat unit comparable to 0.3 megawatt hours). That is what energy agency IEA predicts in a Monday published report. Last year, the global gas price rose by 4.6 percent.
