Top favorite Asier Martinez won gold in the 110 m hurdles at the European Athletics Championships in Munich.
The world championship third from Spain prevailed with 13.14 seconds in a thousandth of a second decision in front of defending champion Pascal Martinot-Lagarde (13.14/France). Just Kwaou-Mathey (13.33) also took bronze for France.
Gregor Traber, fifth in Berlin 2018, missed another entry into the final. The man from Tübingen dropped out after 13.72 seconds in fourth place in his semi-final.
