Report from JB Capital estimating the value of the league: 1.41 billion for the current season, estimated at 1.64 next year. The company system is worth 1.8 billion but the transition to permanent licenses would increase the overall value to 4.3 billion
The Euroleague system is worth 3.2 billion euros. The estimate comes from the JB Capital report, which valued the league at 1.41 billion euros for the 2025-26 season. Added to these is an overall valuation of all the teams with License A (the ten-year one) of around 1.8 billion euros. The analysis suggests that the combined value of the league and its clubs could increase by up to 25%, once the current ten-year licensing system evolves into permanent franchises, as in the plan announced by the Euroleague in recent weeks, therefore up to 4.3 billion euros in total value from the 2026-27 season.

JB Capital has estimated a growth valuation of the league alone at 1.64 billion euros for the 2026-27 season, parameterizing it to EBITDA. “These projections are supported by solid financial fundamentals, with league management forecasting sustained revenue and EBITDA growth above 10% compound annual (CAGR) from the 2022-23 season to the 2034-35 season,” according to Euroleague reports. The valuations of the individual clubs, however, were calculated using multiples based on turnover, with figures ranging from over 60 million euros to more than 320 million euros, demonstrating the growing commercial solidity and competitive profile of the participating organisations.

The theme of the proposed reform of the transition of the current clubs with ten-year licenses to a permanent franchise status remains in the background, which would increase the overall value by around a quarter, “strengthening the league’s position – says Euroleague – as one of the most dynamic and rapidly growing entities in global professional sport”, thus growing up to 4.3 billion euros in overall value from the 2026-27 season.
