No chance against the Turkish champions

Coach Gonzalez had his entire squad to call on, with the exception of long-term absentee Marcus Eriksson. Especially under the basket, the Berliners had problems withstanding the physique of the Turkish champions.

At the end of the first quarter, Alba Berlin came into play better offensively. The Berliners were able to shorten the second half to two points several times. But the equalization did not succeed at first. Shortly before the break, a weak phase of the guests made the deficit double-digit again.

Alba’s distance shots not good enough

After the break, Fenerbahce had everything under control. The hosts temporarily pulled away to 20 points (61:81). The albatrosses continued to struggle, but especially the rate of distance throws was clearly too weak. Alba was no longer able to endanger the hosts and in the end clearly lost.
