EU supports Moldova in developing security sector – newspaper

FRANKFURT (Dow Jones) — According to newspaper information, the European Union wants to help the Republic of Moldova build an efficient security sector. In early summer, administrative specialists from the member states from the judiciary, police and customs are to be sent there in another civilian EU mission, reports the world on Sunday, citing high-ranking EU diplomats. In addition, Brussels also wants to send experts to advise the small country in western Ukraine in the fight against cyber attacks and disinformation.

According to the newspaper, experts from the European External Action Service (EEAS) are already preparing a crisis management concept. It should be finished in March.
