EU chief: use of Russian assets for Ukraine, if necessary without Belgium’s consent

It appears that the European Union will use the frozen Russian assets for a loan to Ukraine, even if our country remains opposed. Although the European Commission has presented two options for additional financial aid to Ukraine to the Member States, President of the EU Leaders António Costa is now also heading for the use of the frozen Russian assets.
