The Italian fashion house Etro Spa is expanding to Japan with its furnishing collections. On Tuesday, the company announced that it will open the first showroom for its Etro Home category in the capital Tokyo on July 23.
For this purpose, Etro expanded its existing flagship store in the Ginza district by an area of around 200 square meters. In the future, the brand will offer its furniture collections as well as home textiles and furnishing objects.
The new location in Tokyo follows the concept of the “Etro Home” boutique in Milan, which was already opened in 2014. He was designed together with the Oniro Group, which has been producing and selling the Etro interior collections since 2017.
Etro had recently put a strategic focus on not only performing as a fashion and textile provider, but also designing holistic living environments. As part of its “Etro Branded Residences” concept, the company has now presented two exclusive luxury living projects, which are set up with objects from the “Etro Home” collection.
