The 26-year-old center forward redeemed himself by scoring the net in the 38th minute, and the first half ended with the guest team leading 2-0.

Italy made the score 3-0 with Francesco Pio Esposito in the second half. Rauno Sappinen of the home team scored with a goal in the 76th minute and the guest team left the field victorious 3-1.
