On Tuesday evening, some officers had their hands full catching an escaped pot-bellied pig. The beast roamed the front gardens of the houses in Baverdestraat in Lieshout and did not just surrender.
Some local residents helped to catch the pot-bellied pig. And that was not easy. The boar struggled. According to Willem Verhoeven, who was visiting his parents, it took a total of about three hours before the beast could be removed.
Verhoeven filmed the hunt for the pot-bellied pig from the balcony. Around seven o’clock the boar was taken away in a van. It is not clear who the boar belongs to. It is also not clear where the boar was taken.
