Esapekka Lappi leads the Kuopio Championship rally

Esapekka Lappi and Takamoto Katsuta are preparing for the World Rally in Sweden at the World Championship Rally in Kuopio.

Hyundai WRC driver Esapekka Lappi roasts in the lead of the Kuopio SM rally, after four special tests have been run.

Lapland has kept Toyota Takamoto Katsuta behind him in every special test, although the result of the second ek was marked as the same due to the time credit received by the Japanese. There is a gap of 12.9 seconds between the former teammates, of which the six-second gap came in the fourth section.

Lap and Katsuta have a Rally1 car below.

In the SM1 class, there is a tight fight for seconds Teemu Asunmaa (+1.1), Jari Huttunen (+0.7) and Juha Salowho rose to the top spot by clocking the bottom time of the class in the fourth ek.

In the overall situation, Salo is one minute and 28 seconds behind Lapland.

After the maintenance break, four more special tests will be run in Kuopio.
