Erzgebirge Aue: Second division relegated presents new coach

Erzgebirge Aue is relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga. But the Saxons have a clear goal for the new season: they want to get promoted again. The coach is already there for that.

In the new season, Timo Rost will be the coach of FC Erzgebirge Aue, which has been relegated to the second division in the third division. This was announced by Auer and Rost’s previous club, SpVgg Bayreuth, on Saturday. With the Franks, Rost had previously been promoted to the 3rd division and had also reached the 1st DFB Cup round. No information has yet been given about the terms of the contract.

According to Bayreuth, Rost signed his working paper at FC Erzgebirge on Friday after final talks with Bayreuth’s managing director Wolfgang Gruber had taken place. Rost, 43, has long been associated with FC Erzgebirge. The previous FCE coach, Pavel Dotchev, had previously announced that he only wanted to work as sports director for the violets in the future.
