THE HAGUE – He has served his sentence for a long time and has also been two unsuccessful requests for revision from the Supreme Court, but Ernest Louwes continues to fight to demonstrate his innocence. The man who received twelve years in prison for the Deventer Murder case now wants to demonstrate through a new DNA investigation that he has been incorrectly convicted. His lawyer called it on Monday “a shame that Louwes must beg for further investigation through summary proceedings.”
