Eli Russell Linnetz, the American designer behind Californian streetwear label ERL, is the next guest designer at menswear trade show Pitti Immagine Uomo. He will present his spring/summer 2024 collection on June 14 during the 104th edition of the Florence fair, Pitti Uomo Immagine announced on Wednesday.
It is the first physical fashion show for ERL, so far the label has presented its new collections in look books. However, Eli Russell Linnetz got his first taste of the catwalk alongside designer Kim Jones, with whom he designed a capsule collection for Dior Men earlier this year. The brand’s runway debut, best known for its Californian roots and style, will also be accompanied by a “special project for the occasion” that will showcase Linnetz’s “crossover vision between fashion, design and lifestyle.” reflects.
It is, among other things, his eclectic style, cultural allusions and his talent for combining commercial flair and limited creativity that aroused the interest of trade fair organizers to invite ERL to Florence, according to Lapo Cianchi, Director of Communication and Special Events at Pitti Immagine . ERL will thus become part of a group of renowned designers such as Raf Simons, Grace Wales Bonner and most recently Martine Rose and Jan-Jan Van Essche, who previously took part in the fair as guest designers.

In addition to ERL, Italian fashion house Fendi will also present their spring/summer 2024 collection during Pitti Uomo in Florence. The fashion show will take place on June 15th at the recently opened Fendi factory.
