Sweden U21 international

For the Swedish U21 national player Paulos Abraham, the football year 2022 has involuntarily ended prematurely. According to his club FC Groningen, after long-term threats against himself and his girlfriend, the attacker received such serious threats on Friday that the Eredivisie club “sees Abraham’s personal situation as so uncertain that the club has decided to take the 20-year-old to send Abraham on leave early.”

The day before, the broadcaster hadRTV Northreports that Abraham’s dog bit another dog to death in the neighborhood about a month ago. The left winger said it was “terrible what happened”. He took steps to prevent this from happening again. “I’m also in talks with the family to find a solution to the situation that has arisen, so I find it unfortunate that people find it necessary to go to the media.” FC Groningen has now announced after the threats that the club is already looking for another apartment for Abraham.
