WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) – Democratic Congressman Jamie Raskin has accused US Attorney General Pam Bondi of a “cover-up” in her handling of the Epstein files. The US Congress has asked her ministry to publish six million documents, photos and videos from the files surrounding the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Raskin said at Bondi’s hearing in the House of Representatives. However, only half was published.

The withheld documents are not just duplicates, he said. “They are running a massive Epstein cover-up directly from the Justice Department,” accused Bondi, a Democrat. At the end of last month, your ministry published several additional investigative files on the Epstein case. This ended the viewing and review of the documents and the ministry had fulfilled its obligation, said Deputy Minister of Justice Todd Blanche at the time./fsp/DP/he
