Enzo, scion of a bourgeois couple, he refuses the fate written for him by the family and chooses to work as an apprentice in a construction company. In the film conceived and written by Laurent Cantet and made, after his death, by Robin Campillo, the generation of the fathers (much more than that of mothers) is in trouble, crisis from A sixteen -year -old who disputes the idea that the only way to proceed in life is to study.
And even more destabilizing is the comparison of the young man with an incomprehensible masculinity: the Connecting of the Vlad site (Maksym Slivinskyi, perfect, had never recited before), Ukrainian and transfuron – not class like Enzo, but from the war – the young man admiration arouses. Maybe something more.

It was not easy to make visible the sense of inadequacy that is felt in that infernal age in which the choices that will condition all the life that will come. This film “joyful and a little melodramatic” in the words of Campillo, succeeds.
