Italian Enzo Maresca, who is the assistant of Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola, will coach Leicester City, one of the English Championship teams.
In a statement from the club, it was stated that 43-year-old Italian Maresca will be the coach of the team for three seasons.
Leicester City also stated that the contracts of coach Dean Smith and his assistants Craig Shakespeare and John Terry, whose contracts expire on 30 June, will not be renewed.
Having completed the season with 3 trophies (Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League), Maresca is the assistant coach of City, and will work to promote Leicester City, which fell into the Championship this season, to the Premier League again.
Maresca, who previously ran Parma in 2021; Ascoli also took on various roles in the technical teams of Sevilla and West Ham United.
