Environmental activist causes interruption at the French Open

An environmental activist chained herself to the net during the second French Open semi-final in Paris.

The young woman ran onto Court Philippe Chatrier during Friday night’s match between Casper Ruud (Norway) and Marin Cilic (Croatia), with a message on her t-shirt.

The match had to be interrupted in the third set, both players left the field for ten minutes.

Previously, the German Olympic champion Alexander Zverev (Hamburg) had to give up against Rafael Nadal (Spain) after he twisted his ankle.
