Entrepreneurs borrow € 5.8 billion outside of banks: especially small loans in demand

Dutch entrepreneurs collected € 5.8 billion in financing outside the traditional banks in 2024. That is an increase of 16.5% compared to 2023. The number of non-bank financing up to € 50,000 has increased the strongest by 27%. This is evident from the annual research by Stichting MKB Financing (SMF).
