Does Baby Cigerci Papa’s use prevent?
Energie Cottbus continues to rock the 3rd football league. After the away win in Rostock, Alemannia Aachen is coming to Lausitz. But the most important man of all people could be missing on Saturday. By Andreas Friebelmore
The course of the game
The favorite home team had to endure an additional cold shower in the LEAG stadium in the LEAG stadium: the Cottbuser King Manu had a haky running duel with the Aachen center striker Emmanuel Elekwa in his own penalty area. Referee Yannick Sager decided – under violent protests by the Cottbus players – on a penalty that the top goal scorer Lars Gindorf was supposed to transform (14th).
The hosts struggled with the fast -paced, aggressive appearance of the Aaachener – but they still had their decisive players in the past games, Tolcay Cigerci. He initially put a free kick from around 20 meters in the wall. But King Manu reacted at lightning speed, grabbed the rebound and put it back on Cigerci. He took the second chance and fled the ball worth seeing in the far corner – the equalization in the 22nd minute.
The joy lasted briefly. The previously celebrated goal scorer Cigerci lost the ball to the rushing Felix Meyer in the half field. Mika Schroers used his sharp cross with the necessary calm and pushed a tour of Aachen (25th).
In the second round, both teams played with an open visor. In the 53rd minute, Cottbus was lucky because Elekwa only hit the post. There seemed to be a matter of time before one of the teams would score a goal. After Cigerci’s flat end of the guest goalkeeper Olschowsky could not be clarified, Rorig came to the ball and put across Erik Engelhardt. The striker, who was already shiny in the previous weeks, executed to compensate (68th).
A little later, Cigerci drove to the penalty after substitute Justin Butler was surrounded in the penalty area. The 30 -year -old gave the Aachen goalkeeper no chance – and turned the game with his second goal of the day (72nd). Aachen pressed in the final phase – and Cottbus had several counterattacks. But it remained 3-2 for the home side.

Player of the day
Who? Tolcay Cigerci crowned his outstanding form of the past few weeks against Alemannia Aachen. The guests were bilious, dangerous and possibly better than some Cottbusers suspected. But the team was able to rely on the performance of the new father. A fantastic Schlenzer to 1: 1 and an ISCALLER penalty to 3: 2 were only the most striking signals of the offensive player. The gate to 2-2 by Erik Engelhardt also indirectly a conclusion of Cigercis. This now leads the scorer list in the 3rd division with seven goals and five templates.
