Quantum computing also gains more and more fans among investors. While industry representatives such as D-Wave or Rigetti have already made a name for themselves for investors, Endava is still running under the radar. You need to know that about the British company.
• Endava as a quantum newcomer
• profitable business model
• share with potential
According to Researchandmarkets, the quantum industry reached a market value of $ 1.9 billion in 2024 and is expected to achieve $ 7.5 billion by 2030-experts assume an average annual growth rate of 28.7 percent. Unsurprisingly, investors are also increasingly targeting the industry. Some of the best-known quantum computer companies are particularly sitting in the United States: D-Wave Quantum, Rigetti Computing, Ionq and Quantum Computing are just a few of the industry representatives who also attract investor interest. There are also well -known technology giants such as IBM, Intel, Alphabet or Honeywell, which also show strong ambitions in the quantum computer segment.
Endava even less known
Meanwhile, a British quantum computer company has achieved significantly lower awareness: Endava PLC. The technology company based in London specializes in digital transformation, agile software development and automation solutions and is now internationally active. Endava customers sit in North America, Europe and Latin America, more than 11,700 employees work for the British, and industries such as finance, healthcare, automotive industry and telecommunications are served.
Dava.x quantum as the centerpiece
The tech company’s quantity segment is called Dava.x Quantum and aims to support companies in the integration of quantum computing technologies in order to cope with complex challenges and to develop innovative solutions.
Dava.x Quantum plays an important role in the endava business plans, because the company wants to continue to establish itself for business purposes in applications of quantum computing technologies. Endava has various services for this: In addition to advice and strategy development, the company also offers proof-of-concept projects and hybrid quantum-classic solutions in which quantum algorithms are integrated into existing IT infrastructure.
Endava works profitably
On May 14, Endava presented its third quartals. In the past reporting period, a turnover of 194.8 million British pounds was achieved. On a adjusted basis, Endava earned 24.6 million GBP before taxes, which corresponds to an adjusted profit per share of 0.34 GBP, the profit per share was £ 0.18. The company’s top 10 customers generated 39 percent of sales.
Originally, Endava had set up higher sales goals for the third quarter, but lower profit goals: revenues were expected between 198.0 and 200.0 million pounds, and was targeted for the adjusted profit per share per share.
Endava has an advantage over many other industry representatives – especially pure quantum computer companies -: the group works profitably. D-Wave had recently reported red numbers despite the sales jump, and Rigetti also got a loss.
Share with catching up to do
Meanwhile, there is a mixed development on the stock exchange: While the D-Wave Quantum share has gained around 31 percent in value since the start, rigetti computing was more than 24 percent down in the same period. Ionq lost around 22 percent at the same time, Quantum Computing even lost a whopping 44 percent (as of May 15, 2025). However, the industry representatives showed themselves very fluctuating.
Endava’s ADR shares have also lost value on the NYSE: around 36 percent since the start of the year. Analysts apparently still see potential for catching up here: 4 experts who evaluate the Endava share on Tipranks have spent purchase recommendations, there are only three installments to keep the share-Sell ratings. With an average price target of $ 24.00, the share, which had closed on May 15, 2025 at NYSE at $ 14.78, still has a whopping potential of 62.38 percent.
