End of smartphones at parties coming? This festival on King’s Day takes a drastic measure

Many parties struggle with smartphone use on the dance floor. The Amsterdam festival Burst therefore takes a drastic measure on King’s Day: all telephones from the 17,000 visitors must be opened by employees in a bag that can only be opened in special areas. “If the telephones are gone, everyone will experience the same time.”
