A downer for Vita van der Linden. The defender of Ajax Women will not be in action for the rest of the season. The 25-year-old suffered a knee injury before the winter break and will therefore be sidelined for the rest of the season.
In the won classic against Feyenoord, Van der Linden had to leave the field injured. She has now undergone surgery and it is also known what the seriousness is. Van der Linden had to miss the rest of the season because of the injury.
Ajax Women will resume the competition this Friday with a home match against ADO Den Haag. The team of trainer Danny Schenkel leads the way with 25 points from 12 games.
