Employers critical of long-term inactive people: “The longer the gap on a CV, the more challenging the return to the labor market”

Employers are not always convinced by inactive people who reapply for jobs. Our country currently has 1.3 million inactive people: people between 25 and 64 years old who are not working and are not looking for work. A study by Ghent University shows that long-term inactivity in particular makes returning to a job more difficult, unless it concerns people who take the opportunity to receive training.
