An employee of TBS clinic Veldzicht in Balkbrug was killed this afternoon in a stabbing. Two other clinic employees were injured.
The unsub is a patient at the clinic. He locked himself in another room after the stabbing. He took his own life in that room, reports the Judicial Institutions Service (DJI).
It is still unknown what caused the stabbing. According to the spokesperson for the DJI, several care providers are present at the TBS clinic. A patient registers RTV East that there was panic after the incident. “I saw staff and patients running out of the building.”
