Suspect Meriam K. (31), in his own words, could not remember anything of the stabbing that killed Melanie Vrancken in Heerlen on 15 April 2024. She stated on Monday before the court in Maastricht was in a psychosis wrong. The victim was her former supervisor at GGZ institution Mondriaan. Witnesses saw how she put Melanie in her neck.
