Family, friends and colleagues said goodbye to Joyce Van Roosbroeck (36) and Wim Janssens (37) today. The couple died last week in a tragic traffic accident in Koningshooikt (Lier). They leave behind two daughters, ages 6 and 9, who have been raised by the grandparents since the drama. “We will shower them all with love and affection and try to pass on the values and standards you stood for”, Joyce’s parents said at the funeral. The emotional ceremony was attended by 1,600 mourners.
