Arda Güler, who plays for Spain’s Real Madrid team, thanked his former coach Xabi Alonso, who left his post.
In his post on his US-based social media platform Instagram account, the national football player said, “Thank you for believing and trusting me from the first day. Every conversation, every detail, every request helped shape my game and take me to a higher level. I am truly grateful for everything you added to my journey. Your belief in me made me a better player.” he said.
Real Madrid, which lost 3-2 to Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final yesterday, parted ways with coach Xabi Alonso and replaced him with Alvaro Arbeloa.
