Emotion after last ride on the Duinrell frog rollercoaster: ‘Shed a small tear’

The well-known Frog Roller Coaster in Duinrell in Wassenaar has made its last ride after forty years. The beloved family roller coaster, opened in 1985, was a firm favorite for many years among visitors of all ages. Over the years, the attraction transported more than 24 million passengers and traveled more than 600,000 kilometers. The closure was inevitable, maintenance became too expensive and the roller coaster made too much noise. Duinrell did not want to let this special moment go unnoticed and organized a festive farewell, during which employees could enjoy one last ride in this nostalgic attraction.
