Emmy Awards 2022: These are the winners

John Oliver has now won Best Entertainment Talk Show seven times in a row with “Last Week Tonight”. “Saturday Night Live” is also increasingly defining itself as a permanent winner – it won Best Entertainment Sketch Series for the sixth time in a row. According to the IMDB database, the show has already received 87 Emmy Awards with more than 300 nominations.

The best competition program

The singer and presenter Lizzo scooped the prize for the best competition program – closely followed by “Ru Paul’s Drag Race”. Her format, titled “Lizzo’s Watch out for the Big Grrrls,” is about 13 overweight women struggling to become professional dancers. “The stories they share with us aren’t that special, they just don’t get a platform.
