The station in Emmen is experiencing a power outage. Due to the outage, almost all equipment is at a standstill.
An Arriva spokesperson said that the lights at the station are off and the check-in and check-out posts are not working. You also cannot buy tickets at the station. It is not clear how long the outage will last.
The power supply for the electric trains has not been affected. So travelers can simply take the train. The fact that it is not possible to check in is no different. This is what the Arriva spokesperson said. “Our employees are aware of this.”
A spokesperson for grid operator Enexis said that the cause of the outage was not theirs.
