Linkin Park singer Emily Armstrong shows her enthusiasm for Germany on Instagram: traditional costume, Eisbachwelle and Duolingo.

Are you already looking forward to your vacation? Driving down to Tuscany in a convertible – oh, how beautiful La Dolce Vita can be. But maybe we Germans just like complaining too much. We want to go on vacation everywhere, but we now have a stagnating economy and climate change means that summers are becoming more and more extreme here. Then why leave at all? How about “La Deutsche Vita”.

Emily Armstrong celebrates life in Germany

If Linkin Park’s lead singer has her way, life in Germany isn’t as bad as everyone claims. On June 11th she posted a post with the caption “German Vita” to show how beautiful life can be here. But what does Emily Armstrong think is so great about Germany?

For the Nena classic “99 Luftballons”, the carousel post shows, in addition to her appearance at Rock am Ring, fans and a bird’s eye view of the landscape, the German classic par excellence – well, Bavaria’s classic song par excellence: Lederhosen. After all, to the world outside we Germans are all Munich residents. And so Emily dances in a typical Bavarian costume. A few more pictures bring back childhood memories: the rock star goes on the swing. And once you’re in Munich, there’s one thing you can’t miss – that’s for sure: the Eisbachwelle. The place where surf enthusiasts in Munich can show off their skills. To summarize: Germany isn’t that bad – at least if you like pretzels and don’t have a leather allergy.

Is Emily Armstrong currently learning German?

It seems as if Germany has taken a shine to the singer. In the last post you can see a well-known language learning app with the sentence “What do you want, darling?” should translate. Oh how sweet. In keeping with this, the singer will perform again at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Friday, June 12th. So if you still want to see them perform in Germany, you have to somehow make it through the entrance controls in Munich.
