Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Vladimir Semashko is in the hospital for examination, but will soon return to work informs Sputnik Belarus.
“Currently, Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Vladimir Semashko is indeed being examined at a medical facility in Moscow. His condition is quite satisfactory and does not cause concern. In the coming days, the ambassador will start working in the diplomatic mission,” the embassy said.
About the fact that Semashko was hospitalized with a heart attack and he had a hemorrhage in his left eye, wrote Telegram channel Mash. According to him, the diplomat himself complained to the doctors, he was found to have high blood pressure. Thanks to hospitalization, doctors managed to prevent the risk of a stroke.

Vladimir Semashko is 72 years old, he has held the post of ambassador to Russia since 2018. Prior to that, for 15 years he served as Deputy Prime Minister of the Belarusian government. Since 2019, he has been combining the post of ambassador with the position of deputy chairman of the government on the activities of Belarus within the framework of the Union State and relations with Russia.
