No candidate could say anything meaningful about ‘Memory’, the remake of ‘De Zaak Alzheimer’ and – besides ‘Loft’ – director Erik Van Looy’s most successful film. The keywords ‘Memory’, ‘The Alzheimer’s Case’, ‘Liam Neeson’, ‘Guy Pearce’ and ‘Martin Campbell’ didn’t ring any bells. That bell could not have saved newcomer Peter van de Veire after all. He was no match for the duo Cannaerts-Van Impe.
