According to the news of Anadolu Agency, Galatasaray former Sportif A.Ş., who served as the Deputy President of the Turkish Football Federation during the July 3 conspiracy carried out by FETO against Fenerbahçe. General Manager Lutfi Arıboğan was summoned to testify on charges of “aiding the FETO/PDY Armed Terrorist Organization and violating the confidentiality of the investigation”.
Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, all 4 suspects were asked to be present at the prosecutor’s office to testify by writing to the police. It was learned that the former presidents of Fenerbahçe, Aziz Yıldırım and Ali Koç, were among the complainants in the investigation.

In the statement, “Lutfi Arıboğan, Ahmet Ahmet, who is suspected to have participated in irregular transactions in connection with Mehmet Baransu, one of the members of the mentioned terrorist organization, within the scope of the investigation carried out in relation to the investigations and prosecutions carried out irregularly by some former public officials who are members of the FETO/PDY terrorist organization, which is publicly known as “Football Match-Fixing Investigation in 2011”, targeting many people from the sports community, including the former president of Fenerbahçe Sports Club, Aziz Yıldırım. “The Istanbul Police Department has been instructed to prepare the defense of Gülüm, İlhan Helvacı and Ebru Köksal on charges of Aiding the FETO/PDY Armed Terrorist Organization and Violating the Confidentiality of the Investigation, at our Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.”

4 NAMES STATED
Identified within the scope of the investigation, former TFF Deputy President Lütfi Arıboğan, Turkish National Olympic Committee (TMOK) President Ahmet Gülüm, former TFF General Legal Counsel Lawyer İlhan Helvacı and former Galatasaray Board Member and Turkish Football Federation General Secretary businessperson Ebru Köksal were summoned to testify on charges of “Aiding the FETO/PDY Armed Terrorist Organization” and “Violating the Confidentiality of the Investigation”. Istanbul Police Department was instructed to prepare 4 names at the prosecutor’s office. The suspects gave a statement to the prosecutor’s office.
FORENSIC CHECK ON 2 NAMES
The statements of the suspects to the prosecutor’s office have been completed. Lütfi Arıboğan and İlhan Helvacı were referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace on Duty with a request for a travel ban and judicial control in the form of a signature for the crime of “aiding the organization without being a member”. The other suspects, Ahmet Gülüm and Ebru Köksal, were released after their statements at the prosecutor’s office.

HE LEAKED BARANSU BY E-MAIL… 101 HTS RECORD WAS PUBLISHED
An e-mail with the subject “Police Directorate Letter and Name List” sent from Lutfi Arıboğan’s corporate e-mail address at TFF to his personal e-mail address at 21.00 on December 4, 2011 attracted attention. This e-mail did not contain any text content, but a file named ‘magicolor_…pdf’ was found.
It was determined that this e-mail was sent from Lutfi Arıboğan’s personal e-mail address to the e-mail address of Mehmet Baransu, who wrote articles in Taraf Newspaper during the 3 July period, at 22.30 on 7 December 2011. 101 HTS records were also found between July 13, 2011 and December 6, 2012, 10 days after the July 3 operation of Baransu and Lutfi Arıboğan.
