Musician Elton John, 78, said last year that the vision in his right eye has deteriorated significantly due to a severe eye infection.
Now Mirror says that the vision in John’s left eye is also deteriorating. As a result, John can’t make new music because he can’t read lyrics.
According to the magazine, John struggles with being able to watch his children play sports. According to the Mirror, John also misses reading newspapers and checking music charts in the morning.
Because of his situation, he can’t even watch a biographical film about the musician.
Still, John hasn’t given up. According to the Mirror, she still has hope of regaining her sight, being able to return to work and see her 12- and 14-year-old sons grow up.

– It has been overwhelming. Since I lost my right eye and my left eye is not very good, the last 15 months have been challenging for me. I haven’t been able to see anything, look at anything or read anything, John says.
John’s spouse David said that John has been able to read a little on a large computer screen. Through that, John has also followed the music charts. According to the Mirror, David also said that additional treatments have been given to the situation, with good results.
– We have done some treatments. There has been improvement in his left eye which is really good. We are continuing to investigate and we are getting a lot of contact from many doctors who want to help and support, David said.
Despite the situation, John has still continued to play and sing. It was announced this week, according to the Mirror, that John will headline next year’s Rock in Rio festival.
