On Wednesday, September 20, Taylor Swift announced news about her upcoming album 1989 (TAYLOR’S VERSION). She shared the back covers and the “Vault Tracks” on X (formerly Twitter). She said: “I seriously can’t wait for this to come out.”
X boss Elon Musk also seems to have noticed the hype surrounding new material from her. He immediately contacted Swift’s News with the request: “I recommend publishing some music or concert videos directly on the X platform.”
An attempt to present X as a relevant, important platform for the world? Swift neither responded nor asked Musk to speak further.
Taylor Swift had already released a teaser video for her new “Vault Tracks” and also teamed up with Google to create a puzzle that starts as soon as you enter her name into the search engine. When 33 million puzzles have been solved, the titles of the tracks should be announced.
Taylor Swift’s new record 1989 TAYLOR’S VERSION will be released on October 27th and, like her albums FEARLESS (TAYLOR’S VERSION), RED (TAYLOR’S VERSION) and SPEAK NOW (TAYLOR’S VERSION), will be a re-recording of her 1989 album of the same name. The album can already here can be pre-ordered.
